Nikoi is a member of The Long Run.

FOR THE
FREE-SPIRITED.
Nikoi is a family escape
like holidays used to
be - unplugged and
joyfully unstructured.
A private island just a short trip from Singapore, it feels a world away. With open-air villas, fresh local food, and nature all around, it’s a place where kids roam free - climbing trees, roasting marshmallows or launching off jetties - whilst grown-ups linger over long lunches and lazy afternoons.

The island that is barefoot, wild and full of energy.
Think crashing waves and distant laughter. Salt on your skin, sand between your toes and sambal on your fingers.

DINING EXPERIENCES

Menus are set daily, shaped by what is fresh each morning. Seafood comes in with local fishers, vegetables and spices from the markets, eggs and poultry from our farm. The main dining area leans towards Indonesian flavours - think grilled tempeh served with homemade sambal - while Restaurant Biru offers a menu inspired by Mediterranean cuisine.

The Island
Foundation
The Island Foundation is a charity established by the founders of Cempedak and Nikoi Islands. Singapore-registered, but operating in the Riau Archipelago, it works with island and coastal communities to improve learning opportunities.

CEMPEDAK
Island
Cempedak is Nikoi’s sister island, just a few kilometres to the south. Where Nikoi carries a more playful energy welcoming families, Cempedak’s adults-only setting provides a quieter pace.

Our
Commitment
An important part of Nikoi’s approach to responsible tourism has been ensuring that we not only protect the environment but restore it where needed. From the outset, the island’s development has been guided by strict sustainable principles. Nikoi was built using local materials, labour and services. It continues to be operated in the same way – in close partnership with nearby communities whose knowledge and traditions are deeply connected to this landscape.
